Old San Juan

Last week I went to Old San Juan, just to get out of my house. Even if it's in your list of visits or it isn't, GO. You'll see fortifications of the XVI-XIX century.

A sentry box at the Castillo San Cristóbal. The sentry boxes were used to keep an eye out the seas around the island of Puerto Rico.

La Garita del Diablo. According to legend, a soldier in the same place disappeared, and in the morning, only his clothes was found. Since then, it's believed that it was the devil who sought him. Hence the name, La Garita del Diablo, in English Devil's Sentry box.

A sentry box in the Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

The monument of the Totem. This monument is in honor of the indigenous roots of the Island, and holds some Indian artifacts found.

A panoramic photo shot near a sentry box at the Castillo San Felipe del Morro, with a view of the Capitol and some apartments found in the city.

Rincón

The city of Rincón, also known as "The city of beautiful sunsets", is located in the west of Puerto Rico. It's a very touristic place, and, as the name says, the best place to see beautiful and spectacular sunsets.
