The Museo de Arte de Ponce (MAP), is an art museum in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It holds a collection of European art and as well of Puerto Rican artists, and houses some 4,500 pieces of art. It was founded by politician and philanthropist Luis A. Ferré. Some of the most important pieces of art are
Flaming June, by Frederic Leighton, and the unfinished painting of Sir Edward Burne-Jones,
The Last Sleep of Arthur in Avalon. In the museum there are various exhibitions, and the current one is called
"Del Greco a Goya", which features paintings from the acclaimed museum, El Museo del Prado, from Madrid, Spain. The exhibition is scheduled to end July 9, 2012.
